Plurals with -s and -es: One cat, two cats

When there is more than one, we add -s to most nouns. Nouns ending in s, sh, ch or x take -es.
عندما يكون هناك أكثر من شيء واحد نضيف s إلى معظم الأسماء. أما الأسماء التي تنتهي بـ s أو sh أو ch أو x فنضيف لها es.
cat → cats · box → boxes
Examples
- Saud has two cats.
- Put the books in the boxes.
- We ate three sandwiches at school.
- My brother has four watches.
Wrong: I have two box.
Right: I have two boxes.
